Konsu Oy, a company specialized in Russian business consulting, is growing strongly together with the Russian economy and investments. Last year Konsu's turnover grew more than 50 %. At the moment Konsu employs approximately 140 people, 130 of which are working in Russia. The goal of the company is to reach 10 M€ turnover by year 2010. For this the company needs 200 co-workers.
Increasing amount of employees is not enough to guarantee the growth; new customers are also needed. At the moment over 50 % of Konsu's clients come from Finland but the company is planning to increase the number of non-Finnish customers remarkably in the near future. To reach this goal Konsu has hired a German sales director to its Moscow subsidiary to strengthen the sales efforts towards German companies. For this very same reason the company made a marketing cooperation agreement with Salzburg Munchen Bank AG at the end of last year and established an office in Salzburg Munchen Bank AG's premises in Munich. According to the agreement contacts from German companies are forwarded to Moscow for further actions. - We are extremely happy for this new opportunity to enter the German market, says Pirjo Karhu, the managing director of Konsu Group. - Last autumn we made a road show to some German cities and found out that there is a need for our services, Karhu continues.
Cooperation with Konsu is beneficial also to Salzburg Munchen Bank AG, which was 1990 founded as an independent bank of Austrian Raiffaisenverband Salzburg. Salzburg Munchen Bank has managed to get clients as well among SME's as in private sector. It is a good combination of the best sides of a small and flexible bank and of an international banking corporation thus offering excellent opportunities to Konsu's clients.
